Already Divided

    Ophir Pines-Paz, Israeli Minister of Science, Culture and Sports during the war testified in front of the Winograd Commission which is charged with investigating and drawing lessons from the war. On June 25, 2007, parts of his testimony were published in Haaretz:

    "The leading diplomatic sources… gave us a working premise that we didn’t have much time to work with, and that we needed to act until we would be stopped - but then no one stopped us."
