The academic year will start on time for Palestinian students from the Nahr al-Bared and Beddawi refugee camps who are planning to take the national exams given at the end of secondary school, UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) public information officer Hoda Samra Souaiby said on Tuesday.
The school year for all other Palestinians from the two North Lebanon camps will begin about one month late, as UNRWA readies pre-fabricated schools instead of the usual facilities, which are overflowing with displaced residents from Nahr al-Bared.
